"Summertime Joy" Exhibition
Presented by Hudson Art Gallery at Hudson Art Gallery Hudson, WI
Featuring selections from Virginia Randolph Bueide’s beguiling “Passage” and “Picnic” series, and the joyful florals of Carmen Duran, this lively exhibit embraces the color and warmth of summertime. Viewers are invited to slow down and reconnect with the natural world through childlike wonder and happy memories of summers gone by. Unforgotten Washington County Stories from the Korean War
Presented by Washington County Parks at Washington County Historic Courthouse Stillwater, MN
The Korean War (1950–1953) is often called the “Forgotten War,” overshadowed by World War II that ended just five years earlier. But in Washington County, it is anything but forgotten. Eleven local men were killed in action during the war, and their stories continue to live on in the memories of families, friends, and the community they left behind. Their service, sacrifice, and experiences form a powerful chapter in our shared history. Visit the Washington County Historic Courthouse to explore an exhibit that brings these stories to life.

Dubuque Rendezvous! a cooler world gathering will be a cultural platform, community gathering and climate forum in Dubuque, Iowa in June 2026. Featuring a month-long exhibition of outdoor sculpture installations and a four-day festival from June 25 – 28, Dubuque Rendezvous! will present performance projects, community events, exhibitions, exchanges, presentations, and public forums. Programming will emphasize environmental awareness, cultural communication, climate sustainability and collaborative inspiration. Participation is invited locally, nationally and across the Mississippi River watershed. All events will be free and open to the public. Explore the outdoors with your little one through a story, engaging activities and a hands-on craft. This special program is designed for children ages 3-6 and their adults, but older or younger siblings are welcome. Learn something new while making memories at the park. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Start the fun near the park's visitor center (Traprock St., Taylors Falls, MN). This program is typically held outdoors and lasts about 45 minutes. In the event of rain or extreme heat, the program will take place indoors at the nearby Naturalist Office. The program is free, but vehicles in the park will need a Minnesota state park vehicle permit ($7 for a daily permit or $35 for an annual permit).

We are excited to have ShaVunda Brown and Joe Davis return to Belwin as Artists in Residence with our partners the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery. Belwin’s Artist in Residence program provides artists time and space to focus on their creative process, surrounded by the prairies and oak savannas Belwin has worked to restore. Over the years, the program has hosted painters, poets, sculptors, and more. This is Belwin’s fourth year hosting artists from our partnership with the Minnesota African American Heritage Museum and Gallery. ShaVunda Brown is an internationally recognized spoken word artist, hip-hop artist, actress, singer, organizer, and radio show host. Joe Davis is an award-winning spoken word artist, bestselling author, and director of Finding Your Freedom Practice, an artist collective that teaches wellness through poetry, music, theater, and movement.
